I am so blessed to be a part of another great anthology! You’re going to love this one!
Our actions are a direct result of our thoughts. If we listen to the confusion in our brains, we are likely to have a life filled with struggle, insecurity, uncertainty, and frustration. However, if we trust in the Lord and the power of His Word, we can transform our minds and become champions over the darkness! Worry, procrastination, confusion, anxiety, anger, and feelings of unworthiness – all these are attacks on the mind. Cage Fight is an anthology about how you can step into the ring, do battle against these attacks, and remain victorious in the fight!
Watch Out! Currently writing “Cage Fight”! Can’t wait to tell my story about overcoming thoughts of not being good enough.
For as long as I can remember, I have battled my own thoughts and low self-esteem. Where do the ideas that you are not good enough come from?
I recall this battle in my mind as early as five years old. I remember being afraid to speak out because I thought everyone was judging me and making fun of me.
I have personally dealt with thoughts such as: “I can’t”. “They are watching me.” “What if I mess up.” “They don’t like me”. “I don’t fit in”. “They are better than me”. “I’m fat.” “I’m ugly.” “No one want’s to hear my thoughts”. “They are talking about me.” “They are laughing at me.” “What if they judge me.”
These thoughts are planted like seeds into your thoughts by family and society. We are not born with insecurity and self doubt.
YOU must trim and shape these thoughts so they don’t become overgrown and out of control. Many times I have reminded myself; I am worthy and I am enough!
I began by using affirmations and pray each day for God’s strength and guidance. Turn those negative thoughts into positive ones and embrace who you are!
You would be amazed at the difference it makes using positive affirmations to turn those negative thoughts into positive ones. Examples of the affirmations I use are below.
I am that I am.
I am enough.
I am strong.
I am beautiful.
I am worthy.
I also choose an affirmation and log it into my daily planner each day. It helps to give me a boost any time I need it throughout my day. Give it a try and let me know your progress.
There’s a whole lot of inspiring and encouraging stories in this book! But I will say that one of the most special things about this book is FAMILY! I was reading through some of the chapters last night and it hit me! Our Bramblett family is all over it! Thank you Shelia Sheila Farr for putting this amazing book together! Just look at the back cover of the book; Shelia Farr, Grace Johnston and myself are all decedent’s of the Bramblett Family! As you read our stories you’ll find mention of our family! I think Virgil and Jewel Bramblett would be very proud as three of their children are a part of this book! Tom Bramblett (Pepaw) and Stella Chesney are mentioned in the book and Grace Johnston is a co-author. Wow! And best of all, our book just made #1 International Best Seller in Christian Self-Help!! Thank you to all who purchased a digital copy! We expect books to be here early October!
They say what we go through makes us stronger. I am praying for everyone that is going through a difficult time. Whether it be your health, financial or whatever the need, I am praying!
Hang in there! I’m hanging in there with you. I believe better days are ahead! You are strong! You can do this!
Throughout our daily routines and schedules it is easy to get lost in the hustle. I have found that I must set aside time to do the things that I enjoy, be with the people I love and focus on what is important to me. These things help keep me grounded so I can focus on what is important to me and my family.
I purposely wake up early each day and have some quite time in which I drink my coffee and collect my thoughts. I find that during my morning routine I am able to clear my mind and even write. With a clear mind I am able to focus and set my intentions for the day.
Have you ever felt like someone is standing behind you looking over your shoulder. A feeling so real, you can feel their breath?
After losing my husband to suicide, I could feel his spirit was still with me. At first, I thought it was just because I wanted him to be there. But then, unexplainable things started to happen.
Writing this book about the heartache and brokenness on paper is like therapy for me. I’ve held onto the memories for too long.
I am so excited about the upcoming release of our new anthology set to be released in late September. As we prepare for the big day, I’d like invite you to Like my Author Page @cindyannrogersauthor on Facebook where I’ll be sharing updates and insights.
